JOB TITLE:
Litigation Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Law Firm is seeking a Litigation Associate for our Pittsburgh office. This position will be part of our Healthcare Litigation Practice Group and will involve working on complex and high-stakes litigation cases. The associate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, including depositions and client contact, while also working with attorneys at all levels within the practice group. Previous experience in professional liability, medical malpractice, and general liability is preferred, but not required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with all aspects of complex litigation cases, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and attending hearings and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide updates on case progress
- Work closely with attorneys at all levels within the Healthcare Litigation Practice Group
- Participate in meetings and strategy sessions with clients and other attorneys
- Maintain organized case files and documents
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and Ohio
- Previous experience in professional liability, medical malpractice, or general liability preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
