Job Title: Senior Associate or Junior Partner in Insurance Coverage Practice
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in insurance coverage litigation

Responsibilities:

- Assist with managing insurance coverage practice in Chicago office
- Oversee junior associates on assigned files
- Handle defense and prosecution of coverage matters from case inception through trial
- Must have understanding of first-party insurance coverage, with emphasis on property insurance
- Conduct depositions and examinations under oath
- Provide legal research and author coverage opinions
- Defend coverage and extracontractual liability matters in state and federal courts
- Provide oversight and advice to claims personnel and in-house counsel on property insurance appraisals

Requirements:

- Must be licensed in State of Illinois and . District Court for the Northern District of Illinois
- Minimum of five (5) years of applicable first-party coverage experience
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to supervise junior associates, manage files, and report directly to clients

- Strong research and analytical skills
