Law Student
The candidate will have the opportunity to attend court and depositions, client meetings and closings, and fully participate in the daily life of the firm. Each practice area has at least one mentor (typically a senior associate) who is responsible for monitoring assignments and assisting with integration into the practice area. Also work directly with members of the firm on a wide variety of projects, from conducting legal research to drafting transactional documents, motions and briefs. Second- and third-year law school candidates from diverse backgrounds, life experiences and cultural perspectives are considered. Must have a record of academic success and excellent writing skills, as well as equally important but less tangible qualities such as enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity, and initiative. Review:

"No-Nonsense Firm"

Current Employee - Reviewed on July 28, 2017

Relax the rigid culture a bit and allow people to be themselves a bit more. It doesn't have to be a casual environment but it also doesn't have to feel so strict all the time.

Pros : A prestigious place to work for, I know I'm privileged to be here. Everyone knows what their job is and what they're supposed to do and so things run smoothly, as smoothly as they can in a law firm. Competence goes a long way to ease stress when dealing with complex cases.
Cons : Strict, rigid and not the kind of atmosphere I would like to work in and I wanted an ""easy-going"" environment. It's all work and no play, so to speak. There's an air of seriousness about the place.
