Overview:

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is a rapidly growing commercial insurance holding company currently seeking an experienced Paralegal II to join our litigation team in the Boca Raton office. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of professionals and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and analysis of various sources to effectively respond to subpoenas served to any entity within the AmTrust group of companies
- Collect, review, redact, and categorize documents using our in-house e-discovery platform to comply with subpoenas and other legal matters
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, adversaries, and team members to fulfill e-discovery needs for AmTrust
- Interact with individuals at all levels of the company as a member of the litigation department
- Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Maintain data integrity within our computer platform
- Provide support to multiple attorneys and non-attorneys in various aspects of AmTrust's business, including responding to subpoenas, litigation discovery requests, internal investigations, regulatory and compliance matters, special investigations, and corporate due diligence
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and demands
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal
- Experience in Workers' Compensation defense
- Formal paralegal certificate
- 1+ year of demonstrated experience in litigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with document review and production
- Basic understanding of rules and regulations related to responding to discovery requests in litigation
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- 3+ years of experience with an e-discovery system in connection with litigation
