Duties:

  • Handle and manage litigation cases independently while collaborating with other attorneys on shared matters.
  • Provide a proactive and aggressive approach to case development and strategy.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Conduct legal research, including case law and government agency policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely task management and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain financial hygiene by accurately tracking time, expenses, and properly allocating costs to clients.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment by collaborating with colleagues and clients.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of litigation experience.
  • Ability to manage and handle a caseload independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mentality.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong legal writing and research skills.
  • Ability to provide an aggressive, yet practical approach to case development.
  • Prior experience in Plaintiff’s-side litigation is a plus.

Education:

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active state bar membership (specific to jurisdiction).

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong case management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
