Los Angeles office of our client seeks an associate attorney ideally with at least 1 year of experience with labor and employment law. The candidate will educate clients on their rights, provide zealous advocacy, negotiate appropriate pre-litigation resolutions, and litigate when necessary. Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on a variety of labor and employment issues. Conduct legal research and factual investigation to prepare legal documents and develop strategies. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective client service. Educate clients about their rights and obligations under various labor and employment laws. Keep up-to-date with the latest legal and industry developments affecting labor and employment law. Draft compelling correspondence and legal documents. Should be a passionate plaintiff advocate for plaintiff-side labor and employment law. Experience with wrongful termination, discrimination, disability, and wage and hour matters is required. Should be familiar with the process of filing complaints with EEOC, CCRD, NLRB, and PAGA, as well as be familiar with their respective processes. Some experience with labor and employment claims is needed. Must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
