The Corporate & Securities Attorney at Entergy will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and guidance on corporate transactions
- Advise on deal structuring and draft transaction documentation
- Lead negotiations on complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions
- Collaborate with corporate development, business, and functional teams on due diligence and risk assessments
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry trends
- Assist with public and private securities offerings
- Manage securities law compliance programs
- Work on other corporate financing matters
- Prepare and review reports filed with the SEC

The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 10 years of practice experience in M&A, capital markets, or securities law matters
- Relevant in-house experience is a plus
- Prior employment at a nationally recognized law firm is a plus
- Juris Doctor degree and membership in good standing of a state bar
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Solid work ethic and demonstrated success in prior employment

- Broad-based knowledge and experience in the regulated electric utility business
