Essential Functions
• Assists with the management of legal, risk, and compliance responsibilities for the health system.
• Coordinates with legal team to ensure contract requirements and interests are satisfied.
• Responsible for fleet vehicles, drivers and related claims reporting and management.
• Responsible for and assisting with maintaining claim files, payment of invoices, scheduling meetings, and organizing discovery work, for all lines of insurance.
• Assists with managing internal and external visitors, phones, supplies, and other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assists with legal research, document preparation, and filing.
• Prepares and maintains legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and other legal correspondence.
• Assists with the review and analysis of contracts and legal documents.
• Maintains and updates legal files and records.
• Assists with the management of insurance claims and related tasks.
• Communicates with internal and external stakeholders regarding legal matters.
• Assists with the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
• Provides support for legal team meetings and projects.
• Assists with the coordination of legal training and education programs.
• Keeps abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the health system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Bachelors degree or associates degree with 5 years legal or health-care experience.
• Paralegal experience preferred.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in legal research and document preparation.
• Knowledge of contract and insurance law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software programs.

Salary Information

• Salary range: - per hour.
• Full-time position, Monday-Friday, day shift.
• Benefits package offered, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off.
