The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, general negligence and/or insurance defense. The ideal candidate will have strong research, litigation and communication skills (both verbal and written). A healthcare or scientific related degree would be an advantage.

**Job Responsibilities:**
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on legal transactions
- Negotiate settlements
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

**Requirements:**
- 5-10 years of experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, general negligence and/or insurance defense
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan
- Excellent research, litigation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong academic credentials
- Healthcare or scientific related degree a plus
