The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: • Analyzing and commenting on administrative draft CEQA and NEPA documents for legal sufficiency • Analyzing General Plans, zoning ordinances and plot entitlement strategies • Helping prepare project application documents for private clients • Performing legal research concerning land use, CEQA and NEPA topics • Drafting certain CEQA and NEPA documents • Drafting General Plan consistency, CEQA and other approval findings • Handling all aspects of land use/CEQA litigation, including administrative record preparation, procedural steps, briefing, and argument The ideal candidate should possess stellar writing skills, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and motivation to serve private developer and public agency clients at the highest level. Compensation Law Firm offers a competitive salary for this position ranging from $135,000 – $200,000 plus annual performance-based bonuses. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidates’ years of practice and experience.
