- Conduct discovery processes, including drafting discovery requests and responses
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Attend court proceedings, hearings, and mediations
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on discovery and depositions
- Experience in areas such as professional negligence, transportation, products liability, or real estate litigation preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Licensed to practice law in the State of California
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Active California State Bar license
