A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Partner to join its Oklahoma City office. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in corporate and transactional law, with a strong background in business formation, corporate governance, and advising clients on complex transactions. Duties:

  • Manage and negotiate complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, business formation, and general corporate matters.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance on a variety of business-related matters, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Advise clients on corporate governance, corporate compliance, and other legal aspects of business operations.
  • Identify and analyze legal issues, presenting clear recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with other attorneys within the firm to handle complex legal matters.
  • Supervise associates and professional staff, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
  • Contribute to business development activities and the overall growth of the firm’s corporate practice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate and transactional law.
  • Proven experience managing and negotiating complex corporate transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of business formation, corporate governance, and compliance.
  • Ability to provide timely, accurate, and strategic legal advice.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in client management and business development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Oklahoma, or eligibility to practice in Oklahoma.

Skills:

  • Expertise in corporate and transactional law.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience, including supervising associates and professional staff.
