Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz . is seeking a motivated and experienced individual for the role of Legal Conflicts Review Analyst. This position will involve administrative work, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team setting. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Legal Conflicts Review Analyst will be responsible for:

- Reviewing requests routed to Analyst through Firm’s New Business Intake (NBI) platform for accuracy and completeness, and resolving any deficiencies or errors
- Reviewing conflicts reports related to assigned requests
- Identifying any possible matches between parties in new requests and Firm files
- Determining whether any potential matches could present a conflict
- Communicating with attorneys to determine whether new matters may present any ethical or other conflicts
- Reassigning matters for further review to conflict attorneys for clearance
- Documenting all actions taken in the process in the NBI database
- Performing additional tasks related to the operation of the Firm's Conflicts Review Department as assigned by Conflicts Counsel

The successful candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

- Skills attributable to a paralegal or experienced multi-area practice secretary
- The ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Previous law firm experience in opening files or clearing conflicts is preferred
- Experience with the Firm's file opening/conflict system (or a similar size and breadth)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented experience/abilities
- College degree preferred

Salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.
