Job Title: Bilingual Staff Attorney

Experience: 0-5 years, 6-10 years, or 11-30 years

Location: Hillsboro or Woodburn, Oregon (partial remote work option available)

- Represent agricultural workers in federal and state courts and administrative agencies
- Caseload includes impact litigation and brief service cases in areas such as employment, housing, health and safety, civil rights, unemployment, and tax
- Involved in non-litigation advocacy, community education, and outreach
- Work with team to overcome challenges faced by clients, including systemic racism and other forms of discrimination
- Use strategies such as community education, legal representation, and systemic advocacy

Requirements:

- Proven interest and commitment to advocacy for low-income communities and vulnerable populations
- Understanding and commitment to anti-bias principles and addressing systemic racism and oppression
- Excellent legal and interpersonal communication skills
- Membership in Oregon bar, eligibility for reciprocity, or willingness to take next bar exam
- High degree of initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Fluent in Spanish
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel
