A law firm in Oakland is actively seeking a seasoned Senior Labor and Employment Counsel with over 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in both litigation and counseling clients on a wide spectrum of employment law issues. Demonstrated expertise in litigating discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims before government agencies and state/federal courts is essential. Experience with California wage and hour class actions, as well as PAGA claims, is preferred. The successful candidate must hold a California Bar license and exhibit exceptional judgment, superior interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.  Duties:Handle litigation of various employment issues, including discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims.Counsel clients on a full range of employment law matters.Litigate cases before government agencies, state, and federal courts.Navigate California wage and hour class actions and PAGA claims. Requirements:10+ years of experience in labor and employment law.California Bar license.Excellent academic credentials.Commitment to community involvement.Superior interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure. Education:Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school. Skills:Exceptional judgment.Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.Articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Benefits Offered:Competitive compensation.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
