# Closed-End Funds Associate: A Leading Adviser to Financial Services Firms

Law firm is seeking an experienced associate with 5+ years of experience working with registered investment companies, and particularly closed-end investment companies, to join its Financial Services group. The associate will be asked to continue to build the firm’s leadership representing closed-end investment companies and their advisers. Salary is $365,000 commensurate with class year.

## Requirements

- Knowledge of the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act
- Significant expertise in closed-end investment companies (particularly listed funds) and the rules that apply to them under the federal securities laws as well as the rules of relevant exchanges
- Experience with exchange traded-funds, variable insurance products, business development companies, investment advisers, and/or commodities work is a plus
- Large law firm, in-house or regulatory agency experience preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong written and oral communication skills
