QPWB is seeking a Part-Time Insurance Defense Litigator to join the firm in its Reno, Nevada office. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, hard-working, self-motivated individual who contributes to our positive culture. The Insurance Defense Litigator will need to be admitted to the Nevada State Bar (California Bar a plus) and have at least 2 years of relevant experience.

The Insurance Defense Litigator will be responsible for conducting depositions, preparing discovery and responses to discovery, attending local hearings, drafting litigation papers, drafting motions, performing investigations, preparing cases for trial, reporting to insurance carriers and other clients, and summarizing medical document reviews. Additionally, this individual will be exposed to preparing motions, conducting examinations under oath and depositions, and conducting extensive document review in sophisticated insurance litigation.

The successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. It is also important to have an interest in investigating and litigating insurance claims and to be familiar with all phases of discovery.
