**Legal Assistant/Paralegal – Public Protection Division** The Organization of Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin is seeking an experienced and qualified legal assistant/paralegal to join their dynamic team in the Public Protection Division. The Public Protection Division is responsible for protecting consumers and the legitimate business community from deceptive trade practices, unfair business practices, and excessive utility rates or charges; mediating disputes between consumers and businesses; and educating the public regarding consumer issues. **Requirements:** - Minimum of an associate degree in paralegal studies or an equivalent educational pursuit - Five (5) years civil litigation experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal - Preference given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certification - Experience drafting and assisting with the preparation of responses to interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions - Experience creating routine pleadings and motions - Experience with electronic filing and calendaring systems - Proficiently use all basic computer programs including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Professional - Verifiable experience successfully working with multiple attorneys in a fast paced and document intensive environment - Demonstrate an understanding of the process of a lawsuit **Salary Information:** The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. **Application Process:** When applying, please email a current resume with a minimum salary requirement, three professional references, and a cover letter to the Organization of Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin.
