- Responsible for handling bankruptcies filed by healthcare and PBM clients, contracted providers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical companies
- Must be familiar with bankruptcy proceedings, contracts, and funding arrangements
- Will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, provide recommendations, and respond to questions
- Responsible for drafting and filing claims, monitoring dockets, and compiling and reporting metrics
- Must have a BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or similar field and be able to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
- Hybrid role requiring 50% in-office work, with locations available in Philadelphia, Connecticut, or St. Louis

Responsibilities:

- Notify business contacts of bankruptcies and keep them informed throughout the process
- Develop strategies to handle issues during bankruptcy and minimize the need for outside counsel
- Monitor bankruptcy dockets and review filings
- Obtain relevant documents from internal sources
- Draft and file proofs of claim
- Provide support to outside counsel and review documents prior to filing
- Compile and report metrics related to bankruptcy matters
- Implement operational procedures for increased efficiency

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 8 years of paralegal support in bankruptcy
- Insurance background preferred but not required
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or similar field preferred
- Must be able to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with internal billing statements and bankruptcy documents
- Hybrid role requiring 50% in-office work, with locations available in Philadelphia, Connecticut, or St. Louis
