- Job Title: Practice Support Team Specialist (Education Legal Assistant)

- State of California: $53,000 - $102,000
- State of Colorado: $49,000 - $88,000
- State of Massachusetts: $53,000 - $102,000

Responsibilities:

- Coordinating workflow for assigned attorneys, delegating tasks to other teams
- Preparing legal documents with accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Coordinating schedules and making travel arrangements
- Assisting with client billing matters and alternative fee arrangements
- Processing new client/matter intake and maintaining files
- Managing mail and fax communications
- Providing general administrative support, including maintaining attorney contacts and tracking CLE and memberships
- Collaborating with team members and demonstrating effective teamwork
- Using team software to manage workflow
- Showing proficiency in Education law, including e-filing, calendar coordination, and document edits
- Operating office equipment and conducting business in a confidential manner

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED required, 2-year degree preferred
- 3-5 years of legal experience with a heavy focus on Education law
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Previous transcription experience preferred
