We are a law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team in Silver Spring, MD. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a paralegal, strong organizational and communication skills, and be bilingual in English and Spanish. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $50,000-$60,000 per year. Responsibilities: - Assisting attorneys with cases in the litigation process, ensuring efficient and timely handling of administrative processes associated with litigation. - Coordinating and managing attorney schedules and all calendaring. - Maintaining files and databases to ensure accurate documentation. - Drafting correspondence, discovery, and pleadings. - Coordinating with experts and requesting medical records and billing. - Filing pleadings with the courts. - Scheduling depositions, hearings, trials, mediations, and client meetings. - Negotiating outstanding medical bill balances and liens. - Assisting with administrative tasks and other essential functions of the department. Requirements: - Bilingual in English and Spanish. - College education or equivalent. - Minimum of one year of paralegal experience. - Proficient in word processing and computer literate. - Strong organizational and administrative skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Experience working in a personal injury firm preferred.
