We are looking for a skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As a Paralegal at ProKidney, you will play a crucial role in our legal department by providing support in contract management and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Your contribution will be vital in helping us achieve our goal of improving patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintaining and organizing legal files, including contract execution
- Managing a high volume and wide variety of contracts, such as Clinical Trial Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Patent and Trademark filings
- Identifying and addressing legal and contractual risks
- Providing legal support during contract preparation and negotiation
- Implementing and managing contract management tools and systems
- Maintaining and updating governance framework and ensuring compliance
- Coordinating board and committee meetings and preparing necessary materials

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Paralegal certification is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Legal, Paralegal, or Contract Management
- Excellent drafting, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Experience with board of directors' correspondence and public company corporate governance matters
- Prior experience in the CRO/Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Clinical Trials industry is preferred
