## Venture Capital and Emerging Company Associate - Law Firm
Law Firm is seeking an experienced associate to join its venture capital and emerging company practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with three to six years of experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including venture capital transactions.

**Job Summary**
The Venture Capital and Emerging Company Associate will lead transactions and interact directly with CEOs, boards of directors, and venture capitalists in the fields of technology and life sciences. The ideal candidate should have experience with startups and venture capital financings.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead venture capital and emerging company transactions
- Work as a member of a team on complex transactions
- Interact directly with CEOs, boards of directors, and venture capitalists
- Provide legal advice on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters
- Assist in due diligence and review of company documents

**Qualifications**
- Three to six years of experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including venture capital transactions
- Experience with startups and venture capital financings
- Ability to work as a member of a team on complex transactions
- Self-starter attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Salary**
Salary is commensurate with experience.

**Location**
The preferred location is in the Connecticut offices, however, Law Firm is flexible about location and will strongly consider applicants who prefer to work remotely.
