The ideal candidate should possess experience in patent preparation and prosecution in the software, computer science, electrical, or mechanical areas.

**Job Summary**

The ideal candidate should possess patent preparation and prosecution experience in the software, computer science, electrical or mechanical areas.

**Essential Functions**

As an Intellectual Property Associate, the successful candidate will:

- Simultaneously handle high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters from inception to conclusion
- Possess strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients
- Demonstrate an ability to work independently and productively
- Produce quality legal work and ensure excellent client services
- Manage business and generate business through group and individual efforts
- Comply with the highest ethical standards of the legal profession

**Required Education & Experience**

- Juris Doctor

- 2-8 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm

**Supervisory Responsibilities**

Indirectly utilize support staff or junior associates to ensure client satisfaction.

**Physical Activity**

The employee will be required to sit (or utilize a standing desk) for prolonged periods and work on a computer.

**Travel**

Less than 10% travel required.

**Salary Information**

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
