A leading law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney with 3+ years of relevant experience to join its highly regarded Commercial Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate will assist clients with complex commercial real estate transactions and matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leases, loans secured by real estate, and land development. The firm offers a collegial office environment with opportunities to work on sophisticated legal matters at regional, national, and international levels.

Location

  • Raleigh, North Carolina

Duties

  • Assist clients in acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of commercial real property.
  • Represent landlords and tenants in commercial lease transactions.
  • Handle loans secured by commercial real estate.
  • Provide counsel on land development, condominiums, covenants, and contracts with developers, builders, and third-party service providers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Strong experience in handling commercial real estate transactions and disputes.
  • Ability to manage complex legal matters and interact with clients and other stakeholders.
  • NC Bar admission preferred, or the ability to waive into the NC Bar.
  • Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic performance in both undergraduate and law school programs.

Certifications

  • NC Bar admission preferred, or the ability to waive in.

Skills

  • Strong legal research, writing, and drafting abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work and meet deadlines.
  • In-depth understanding of commercial real estate transactions, leases, and financing.
