Overview

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, . (QPWB) is a national law firm seeking an experienced Healthcare Transactions Attorney to lead a new division. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and emerging technology, as well as experience in corporate entity setup and equity and incentive plans. A portable book of business is preferred, but we are open to considering Senior Associates and Junior Partners from traditional big law firms.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions in the healthcare and technology sectors.
- Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence on potential targets.
- Lead negotiations, draft and review transactional documents, and provide legal counsel.
- Stay up-to-date on healthcare and technology regulations and ensure compliance.
- Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful transactions.
- Contribute to post-merger integration planning and execution.

Qualifications

- Juris Doctor (.) degree and active bar membership.
- 5-10 years of legal experience with a focus on healthcare transactions.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and closing complex M&A transactions.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare related laws and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
