Role Summary

As a legal intern at the PCAOB, you will provide support to attorneys and accountants by conducting legal research and writing, assisting with investigations, and working on a variety of regulatory and transactional projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of legal issues and gain valuable experience in the field.

Responsibilities

- Analyze investigative materials and prepare reports for attorneys and accountants
- Review regulatory filings and analyze financial information
- Work with project teams on standard-setting activities
- Conduct legal research using various databases and tools
- Assist with comment letters and public meetings
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed

Qualifications

- Current law student enrolled in an accredited law school
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Proficient in Microsoft software applications and legal research databases
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluency in another language is a plus
