Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

- 2-7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
- Strong research and writing skills
- Experience in case management, motion practice, and discovery
- Experience handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
- Ability to handle a wide variety of matters and excel in litigation and trial of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation cases

Responsibilities:

- Join the General Liability Practice at Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm
- Represent defendants in significant exposure cases in numerous general liability areas
- Provide a defense for a myriad of property and personal injury claims for businesses and individuals
- Handle all phases of insurance defense litigation including case management, motion practice, and discovery
- Conduct hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
- Work closely with partners and senior associates who are seasoned and well-respected trial attorneys
- Collaborate with a team of over 600 attorneys nationwide
- Meet minimum hourly requirements to receive bonus
- Work with developing talented attorneys who have substantive litigation experience
