Litigation Associate Attorney Wilson Elser is looking for a Litigation Associate Attorney to join a team of exceptional professionals in a collaborative environment to represent sophisticated clients confronted with complex legal challenges. This is a remote position based in West Virginia, reporting to our firm’s McLean, VA office. The Position Law Firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney who will be responsible for independently managing a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end. The successful candidate will represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims and work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects. Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Admitted to practice in the state of West Virginia, VA or MD licenses a plus 2+ years of defense litigation experience Experience handling general liability, trucking, transportation, employment, and insurance defense Superior communication, writing, and research skills Experience handling discovery and motions Experience handling court appearances and depositions Trial experience a plus Legal project management experience is helpful Responsibilities Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects Regularly handle court appearances and conduct depositions Communicate with clients and provide status reports Make in-person appearances in West Virginia when required Compensation and Benefits Law Firm is offering a competitive compensation package for the successful candidate.
