Reputed Firm in Virginia State Bar is seeking an efficient and self-motivated legal assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative and litigation support for trial attorneys who process ethical complaints against lawyers. This is a challenging and rewarding position with the opportunity to be involved in all phases of the disciplinary process and other special projects within the Office of Bar Counsel.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, revise, and finalize correspondence and pleadings
- Organize and file subpoena responses
- Prepare and electronically file exhibits
- Maintain electronic files, tickler systems, and dockets
- Receive, evaluate, and process incoming bar complaints against lawyers
- Assist with the administration of receiverships

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working in a legal environment, preferably at a litigation law firm
- Knowledge of business, office management, and legal processes
- Strong organizational skills
- Superior writing and communication skills
- Computer-savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs, Adobe, and electronic filing systems
- Detail-oriented, dependable, proactive
- Good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Satisfactory completion of criminal background check
- Bilingual skills, specifically Spanish, are a plus
