Job Description: As a Tax Manager at PwC, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing new skills outside of your comfort zone - Resolving issues that may prevent the team from working effectively - Coaching and encouraging team members to take ownership of their personal development - Analyzing complex ideas and building recommendations - Using data and insights to inform decision-making - Developing a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients - Managing diverse viewpoints to reach consensus and positive outcomes - Simplifying complex messages and highlighting key points - Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity - Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax-related roles involving partnership structures and related transactions Preferred Qualifications: - Extensive knowledge of tax-related intricacies within private partnerships, including interpreting and applying relevant aspects of the US Tax Code and associated regulations - Experience consulting and modeling for M&A and equity transactions - Strong marketing and business development skills - Ability to interpret and process multiple pieces of information to calculate partnership allocations - Excellent communication skills, including report-writing and presenting to clients and internal staff - Experience managing engagements and preparing concise, accurate written communication - Ability to balance project economics management with unexpected issues - Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and coach team members and promote continuous improvement and innovation In addition, as a tax technical business advisor, you should have experience in developing new client relationships and selling new services with a "One Firm" service mindset. Experience with automation and digitization in a professional services environment is also preferred.
