Overview The Compliance Manager at Elevance Health is a key role responsible for managing and overseeing various compliance projects and initiatives. This is a full-time position with a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) and a salary range of $89,460 to $127,800. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in healthcare, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy, and preferably hold a BA/BS and a professional designation such as an MS, MBA, or JD. Responsibilities - Manage and oversee various compliance projects and initiatives with moderate to advanced complexity and broad/enterprise scale. - Conduct risk assessments, regulatory audits or exams, internal audits, accreditations, and on-site reviews. - Establish project plans, gap analysis, milestone dates, and provide updates to leadership. - Stay up-to-date on laws, regulations, and company strategies and consult with clients as a subject matter expert. - Conduct complex investigations, document findings, and ensure corrective actions are taken. - Interface with external clients, regulators, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Requirements - BA/BS and a minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy, or any combination of education and experience. - Familiarity with laws governing health care and the insurance industry. - Strong writing skills. - Preferred: Regulatory change management experience, legal training or experience researching and analyzing federal or state laws, and a professional designation such as an MS, MBA, or JD. Salary Information - Salary range of $89,460 to $127,800 for in-person or remote candidates in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington State, and Jersey City, NJ. - In addition to salary, Elevance Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions.
