Our debt finance practice is domestic and international in nature and the candidate will interact on a regular basis with Financial Services group members throughout the . and overseas. The ideal candidate is experienced in both lender and borrower representations and has the motivation, ability and confidence to develop on an accelerated basis. Responsibilities The candidate in this position would be expected to provide a full range of the highest-quality legal services to corporate borrowers as well as various regional, national and international financial institutions. The position is responsible for structuring, negotiating and documenting closing mechanics for bilateral and syndicated corporate loans, acquisition financing facilities, securitization and other structured finance products, asset finance for various asset classes, private debt placements and project finance facilities.

Admission to the State Bar of your office location is expected if not currently admitted. Knowledge, Skills & Experience At least five years' of experience with debt finance, bank finance and/or alternative capital finance Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others on complex matters Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and judgment are essential Experience with loan documentation for debt financings Solid working knowledge of debt finance practices Experience drafting documents from term sheets and commitment papers Working knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code and related bankruptcy implications Superior technical skills and drafting skills Excellent client-relationship skills Ability to complete assigned tasks with attention to detail; work with teams and under pressure; and meet deadlines Motivated, organized, self-starter who is ready to assume responsibility on challenging matters with an intellectual capacity/curiosity and desire to grow and develop Experience working in a large corporate setting or law firm preferred
