Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide advice and support company wide on a variety of legal issues on a daily basis in a timely and effective manner.
Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies
Develop company policy and position on legal issues
Independently handles legal matters and projects ranging from basic to complex
Supervises, manages and evaluates outside counsel on all legal matters
Research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks
Act as a consutltant for managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
Identify proactive solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risk
Draft and/or review reports, letters, correspondence, and other legal documents
Represent the company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials, etc.)
Review, amend, and administer all legally binding contracts
Draft contracts to Subcontractors and Vendors
Understand and review Material Contracts
Participates in company meetings and attends outside meetings/seminars as directed
Adheres to all company policies and or procedures
Performs other duties as required or as assigned.

Qualification and Experience Must have a J.D. degree from accredited law school Minimum of 5 years within a corporate legal department or a nationally recognized firm Strong knowledge of contractual law and/or construction law preferred Commitment to being a legal business partner to internal clients Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
