Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Energy Project Finance Associate to join our dynamic project development and finance group in Orange County. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in energy project development, M&A, and project finance transactions
- Familiarity with renewable power and energy transition is preferred
- Strong understanding of energy regulatory matters, project real property, permitting requirements, offtake agreements, interconnection agreements, and other commercial project contracts
- Team-oriented with the ability to take on significant responsibility, including drafting primary deal documents and managing complex diligence and deal management
- Admission to one or more state bars is required

Responsibilities:

- Drafting and negotiating various primary deal documents such as purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements, financing agreements, and joint venture agreements
- Leading complex diligence and deal management, including managing junior associates and internal specialist teams
- Interacting with clients and producing high-quality work product
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and busy practice

Salary and Benefits:

The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $235,000 to $435,000, with actual pay adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short-term and long-term disability, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, and various voluntary programs such as accident insurance, disability insurance, and pet insurance. Additionally, we offer commuter and transit programs in certain markets.
