The Gori Law Firm, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Lung Cancer Team. This full-time position is for an experienced attorney who is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and has a strong background in personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, preferably in asbestos litigation, and a passion for helping terminally ill clients. The Gori Law Firm is a renowned personal injury law firm, dedicated to fighting for justice on behalf of those diagnosed with asbestos-related diseases. We are currently seeking a talented and compassionate Associate Attorney to join our Lung Cancer Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- File legal complaints and offer legal advice to clients diagnosed with asbestos-related diseases
- Prepare legal documents and represent clients in court
- Assist the Supervising Attorney with case work up and motions
- Conduct client and witness interviews to gather and evaluate information
- Depose witnesses and clients as needed
- Assist with Plaintiff's discovery preparation
- Delegate assignments to team paralegals and legal assistants
- Gather and analyze information from various records such as Social Security, Medical, Military, and Union records

Qualifications:

- Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois
- 3-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, preferably with a focus on asbestos cases
- Experience with medical terminology and records is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office applications and excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to problem solve and strategize
- Compassionate and responsive to the needs of terminally ill clients
