Law Firm is a leading law firm with offices in Upstate New York and is currently seeking an Associate Attorney for its Syracuse, NY office. The successful candidate will join the Toxic Tort & General Liability departments and will be expected to have at least one year of experience in civil defense litigation and have completed a judicial clerkship.

### Salary:
The annualized salary range for this position is $75, – $110,. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Law Firm is looking for an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Toxic Tort & General Liability departments in its Syracuse, NY office. The successful candidate will have at least one year of experience in civil defense litigation and have completed a judicial clerkship. is required.

### Responsibilities:
* Represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions
* Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
* Advise clients on business and legal transactions
* Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
* Comply with all legal standards and regulations
* Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

### Qualifications:
* Licensed to practice law in New York
* At least one year of experience in civil defense litigation
* Strong research and writing skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of legal guidelines and regulations
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
