Law Firm is looking for a Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical or Electrical Technologies Patent Attorney or Agent to join their team in Greenville, SC. The successful candidate must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or related fields of study and/or relevant experience and must be a member of the . patent bar. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of patent drafting and prosecution experience.

**Responsibilities:**

- Partner with the Law Firm team and in-house teams to develop and execute thoughtful and effective global IP strategies.
- Draft and prosecute patent applications.
- Draft opinions of counsel.
- Conduct due diligence investigations and perform freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses.
- Opportunities for strategic counseling through client-facing interactions.

**Qualifications:**

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or related fields of study and/or relevant experience.
- Must be a member of the . patent bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of patent drafting and prosecution experience required.
