The ideal candidate will have extensive experience counseling employers on various ERISA and non-ERISA plans and arrangements, including retirement plans and health and welfare plans, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

Duties:

  • Provide counseling to employers on ERISA and non-ERISA plans and arrangements.
  • Draft and review plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and other employee benefits-related materials.
  • Advise clients on compliance issues related to employee benefit plans.
  • Assist clients with plan administration and participant communications.
  • Stay updated on changes in employee benefits laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits law.
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA and non-ERISA plans and arrangements.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active membership in the State Bar.

 

Skills:
