# Associate Attorney at Vahey Law Offices, PLLC

Vahey Law Offices, PLLC, a Rochester based boutique law firm, is searching for an Associate Attorney to join their team and work in various areas of litigation, including commercial, insurance and municipal litigation. The firm is conveniently located in downtown Rochester across from the Hall of Justice and next to the Blue Cross Arena.

## Responsibilities

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for:

* Handling commercial litigation cases from client intake to securing and enforcing a judgement
* Meeting with clients and potential clients
* Initial investigations and legal research
* Preparation of demand letters
* Participate in settlement negotiations
* Drafting of pleadings
* Drafting discovery demands and discovery responses
* Conducting and defending depositions
* Preparation of motion papers
* Preparation and participation in mediations and/or arbitrations
* Preparation and participation in trials
* Drafting and enforcing judgements
* Communicating with clients and witnesses
* All other actions necessary in a civil litigation practice group
