Zwicker & Associates, ., a national creditor rights law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Associate Attorney to join their Litigation department at their Sugar Land, TX location. Admission to practice law in Texas is required, and prior litigation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Communicate effectively with team members and outside parties
- Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Review case files and determine appropriate action
- Advocate for clients' interests in various litigation settings
- Utilize internal software to update and document account status
- Analyze and process litigation inventory reports
- Comply with client and firm procedures
- Ability to travel to courtrooms within the branch office footprint
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Admission to practice law in Texas
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Eagerness to learn
- Ability to manage a large caseload

Preferred Qualifications:

- Minimum of one year of litigation/trial experience
- Working knowledge of civil procedure
- Debt collection experience
- Prior experience in a high-volume environment

Physical Qualifications:

- Able to lift up to five pounds
- Able to sit for 90% of the workday
- Able to bend and be mobile when needed
- Able to read and comprehend documents and correspondence
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing
- Able to travel occasionally when needed
- Able to operate a computer or phone
- Able to work a flexible 40-hour schedule
