The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and hold an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing. The candidate should have 0-10 years of experience in governmental defense. The Attorney will be responsible for representing government entities in legal matters, including litigation and administrative proceedings. The role involves providing legal counsel, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Duties:
- Handle legal cases involving governmental defense, including civil litigation and administrative proceedings.
- Provide legal advice to government entities on matters related to regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Conduct legal research and analysis specific to governmental defense cases.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Represent government clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with government officials and agencies to address legal issues and concerns.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting government entities.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
