Singleton Schreiber, LLP is currently seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our team in our brand-new office in Jackson, MS. This position will support a team of attorneys in state and federal court litigation, and will involve collaboration with other paralegals and assistants. Salary and Benefits Singleton Schreiber, LLP offers a competitive salary ranging from $34-$48 per hour, with actual salaries varying based on factors such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to salary, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package including: - Fully paid health, dental, and vision plans for employee and dependents - Childcare reimbursement for daycare/preschool and after-school care expenses - Transportation reimbursement program - Paid parental leave of 12 weeks for all employees - 401k with employer match - Paid holidays off - Matching donations to a 501(c)(3) - Bar dues/professional association dues coverage Job Duties As a Senior Paralegal at Singleton Schreiber, LLP, your responsibilities will include: - Regular communication with clients and obtaining necessary documents - Court filings, document management and review, discovery, and deposition tasks - Assisting with case deadlines - Management of electronic information and document review - Assisting attorneys with developing case facts and strategies - Creating privilege logs and preparing trial exhibits - Assisting at hearings and trials Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a paralegal certificate and have at least five years of experience in civil litigation. Experience in environmental litigation or mass torts is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. A 4-year undergraduate science degree is also preferred. Other qualifications and requirements include familiarity with working up cases from pre-litigation to post-trial motions, proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office, and experience with e-discovery and law programs such as Sharefile, PACER, and Lexis. The ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must, and experience with case management software is a plus.
