Job Title: Transactional Attorney
Job Overview: A prestigious law firm based in Salt Lake City, UT is actively seeking a highly skilled transactional attorney to join its team. The firm is looking for a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of experience in commercial contracts, real estate, finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and/or trusts & estates. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney to grow their practice while working on complex, high-value transactions in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Duties:
- Handle a diverse range of transactional matters including commercial contracts, real estate transactions, finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and trusts & estates.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements and documents.
- Advise clients on legal and business matters, ensuring compliance and minimizing legal risks.
- Manage client relationships, providing high-quality legal guidance and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex transactional matters, leveraging the firm’s resources and expertise.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transactional law, preferably in commercial contracts, real estate, finance, M&A, or trusts & estates.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A proven track record of delivering excellent client service and results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the Bar in the state of Utah (preferred).
Skills:
- Expertise in commercial contracting, real estate transactions, M&A, finance, and/or trusts & estates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior writing and drafting abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to clients.
