We are currently seeking a highly qualified associate with 4-8 years of experience to join our Renewable Energy and/or Energy Transition development and finance practices in our San Diego, Los Angeles, or Houston offices. As a Renewable Energy and Energy Transition Transactional Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex development and finance transactions, with a particular focus on renewable energy areas such as solar, wind, storage, and hydrogen, carbon, and renewable fuels. You will be responsible for negotiating and drafting project documents, including EPC and BOP contracts, equipment procurement agreements, O&M agreements, and more. Strong drafting and project management skills are essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with large and varied multi-disciplinary transactional teams across offices and has the ability to interact effectively with both senior attorneys and clients. Chinese language skills are a plus.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member of the California State Bar or Texas State Bar, depending on the office location.
