The Legal Counsel II position at . Fuller is a full-time, remote/hybrid role based in CHN-Virtual. As the largest pureplay adhesives company in the world, . This individual will work closely with all businesses and functions, as well as the corporate Ethics & Compliance team, to implement and comply with corporate policies and programs and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. They will also be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts, managing outside counsel, and conducting training on key legal topics. The successful candidate will have subject-matter expertise in anti-bribery & corruption, export controls, and data privacy, as well as strong presentation and IT skills. . Job Summary:

As the Legal Counsel II, you will be responsible for providing legal and compliance guidance to senior leadership in the Asia Pacific region. This includes working closely with all businesses and functions, as well as the corporate Ethics & Compliance team, to implement and comply with corporate policies and programs and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will also handle contract drafting and negotiation, manage outside counsel, and conduct training on key legal topics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with third parties in the AP region
- Develop and revise legal templates for business use
- Support strategic projects that require legal input
- Select and manage outside counsel when needed
- Develop processes to track and control legal spend
- Supervise significant claims and litigation matters in the region
- Conduct training on key legal topics, including IP protection and competition law compliance
- Support the strategic direction of the Global Law Department

Compliance Responsibilities:

- Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) programming, monitoring, and training
- Trade compliance, including sanctioned countries and anti-boycott
- Investigate ethics and compliance breaches and Helpline reports
- Develop and conduct ethics and compliance-related training
- Enforce policies

Minimum Requirements:

- Qualified lawyer, preferably PRC qualified with international legal qualifications and experience
- Bilingual – fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
- 5-10 years of corporate legal and compliance experience in a US-headquartered multinational company or major law firm serving such companies in the AP region
- Experience drafting and negotiating legal contracts in a business commercial context
- Subject-matter expertise in anti-bribery & corruption, export controls, and data privacy
- Strong presentation and IT skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency
