Law Firm is seeking an experienced mid-level associate attorney with a minimum of four years’ experience working on consumer financial regulatory matters to join our market-leading Financial Services Practice Group. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated legal professional looking to work on some of the most interesting and challenging matters in the financial services industry today.

**Job Responsibilities**
- Advise clients on consumer financial regulations, including those relating to payments and credit products at the state and federal levels and unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices laws
- Work closely with clients to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Research and analyze legal issues and communicate results clearly and effectively
- Draft and/or review legal documents and pleadings
- Participate in client meetings and negotiations

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of four years’ experience working on regulatory matters
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
- A commitment to providing superior client service
- Ability to research and analyze legal issues and communicate results clearly and effectively
- Experience with emerging platforms/FinTech, mortgage lenders/services, cryptocurrency and other digital assets are pluses

**Compensation and Benefits**
- Annualized salary range for this position in New York City is $230,000 to $265,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs are also available.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
