As an Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on important cases and make a meaningful impact in our clients' lives. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and handle a variety of tasks with minimal hand-holding. This is a fast-paced and challenging role, but also incredibly rewarding.

Some key responsibilities of this position include:

- Cultivating relationships with the firm's existing and future clients
- Analyzing case-specific legal issues and documentation
- Fostering and maintaining excellent rapport with clients through consistent communication and thorough advisement
- Managing full case handling responsibilities from inception through resolution
- Independently handling decision-making on a case-by-case basis
- Developing a strategic approach and providing leadership and direction to paralegals and legal assistants
- Working as part of a team with all levels of experience and being open to cross-training for coverage outside the associate duties

Experience Information: At least 7 years of experience in heavy asset divorces, highly contentious family law, and dependency matters is required for this position. The ideal candidate will also have trial skills, negotiation skills, and experience with depositions and evidentiary hearings. Community involvement and a Florida law license are also preferred qualifications.

As an Associate Attorney, you will also be expected to:

- Conduct and defend depositions
- Prepare clients for court appearances
- Supervise support staff and team members
- Participate in mediations
- Handle a case from inception to trial
- Effectively manage client expectations
- Be good with people
