They are seeking an experienced attorney with at least five years of experience in insurance coverage/bad faith litigation defense for their offices in Kansas City, Springfield, or St. Louis, Missouri.

Job Requirements
• Licensed in Missouri and Kansas
• Ideal candidates will also be licensed in Arkansas
• Ability to work independently on complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation cases
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Skilled in legal writing and contract and legal analysis

Job Duties
• Manage file through litigation process independently and as a part of the case team
• Conduct fact investigation
• Handle document productions and other discovery tasks
• Preparation of witnesses for deposition
• Taking and defending depositions
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Review and analyze insurance policies, contracts, and other legal documents
• Prepare detailed insurance coverage opinions
• Court hearing preparation and attendance
• Trial preparation and attendance
