Overview:
Perrigo Company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your legal expertise as a trusted business partner to our Consumer Self Care Americas (CSCA) team. As Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in contract drafting and negotiation, managing commercial transactions, and providing legal advice and counsel to the CSCA commercial teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial legal background with experience in the Consumer Self Care, pharmaceutical, and/or Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) industry.

Responsibilities:
As Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for the following:
- Contract drafting and negotiation for a wide range of contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Supporting commercial transactions involving the sale and distribution of consumer self-care products.
- Serving as a key legal advisor to the CSCA commercial team, providing ongoing legal advice and counsel.
- Providing legal counsel and support for business development initiatives and special projects.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and ensure contracts support strategic goals.
- Providing training and education to employees on legal matters, compliance, and risk management.
- Assisting with corporate governance matters and advising on corporate structure and policies.
- Supporting litigation matters involving the CSCA business.

Experience Required:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in Michigan or ability to gain admission.
- 7-10+ years of legal experience in a combination of law firm and in-house settings.
- Proven track record of success in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts within the Consumer Self Care, pharmaceutical, or API industry.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Strong legal research, analysis, and written/verbal communication skills.
